you really can get free stuff when someone pities you in game O_O; My friend did it and got like tones of zeny just sitting down >.>; But begging is a different story. I find beggars in RPGs lazy… do you have nothing better to do? In game especially where you should earn your stuff by fighting and earning money on your own. It’s like the lazy man’s way when someone begs for stuff or money.
