As I left my office and got into our family van ready to drive off, my dad looked at me and asked “Why are you smiling?”. I reflected back on today’s events and in all honesty, one might say it wasn’t the smoothest of days. Yet, I’m compelled to share with you what I thought of these series of events.
Woke up late in the morning to another cold day…
yet what a view to catch the sunlight at just the right time shining over our orchids.
Found out at work that I forgot to put eyeliner on (probably my daily extent of make up)…
and now I don’t have to worry about removing it later.
Spilled some of my lunch over my desk and papers…
it looks like my portion control just got easier.
Was given the long list of projects and tasks needed to be done before my vacation…
glad I won’t be bored before and after I come back from my trip.
Had to re-code a cut and past job that wasn’t tested…
at least it’s now done right, and looks pretty to boot.
Constantly emailing back and forth about a big project and fixes for it even during lunch…
but at least the relay person is fantastic to work with.
Someone was in the left turning lane who wanted to go right and blocked off the lane until they could get through…
but the left turn was still red so a second or two waiting for them was the same as if I was waiting at the light.
My netbook crashed again and had to do a system restore…
but while waiting for it, I checked my email through my iPod and found out I made another sale in my shop.
“Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)
