New Creature

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

This piece was created while I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to draw another piece I wanted to do. So once I started just freely sketching, I found out it fit nicely with the verse above so I decided to start molding the theme around it. It seems my sketchy simple style is well received so I may do more of these in the future. The bottom of the wings outline the curve of the body and I wanted a lot more emphasis on the eyes.
